Graduates of the Biology Department at UNCG are uniquely qualified for a variety of professional avenues and opportunities. The training and education students receive in the Biology Department includes hands on research and field experience as well as diverse areas of study within the biology curriculum.

On November 11th, the Biology department supported an Alumni Networking talk and luncheon. Seven of our esteemed alumni came back for a chance to speak to Dr. Malcolm Schug’s biology class. They talked with the students about what they have been doing since they graduated from UNCG, and they gave those students a chance to ask questions. The alumni were also able to eat lunch with some of their former professors in the department and let them know what they have been up to in the time since they graduated.
