Congratulations to Ann Somers, who was awarded the 2019 Distinguished Teaching Award in STEM Education from the North Carolina Association for Biomedical Research. Ann is receiving this award because of her strong contributions to STEM education in North Carolina. She will receive the award at the Bridging the Gap STEM conference to be held at NC State University in Fall 2019.
