After graduating UNCG, my career path has been directed towards the biopharmaceutical industry. I started at Merck where I was involved in the aseptic manufacture of Varicella vaccine in a clean room environment. After a few years, I made a transition to Quintiles where I worked in drug safety to ensure patient safety through processing and reporting of adverse events for clinical trials and marketed drugs. Most recently, my experience and education has led me to Argos Therapeutics where I work in process development for a biopharmaceutical company focused on making personalized immunotherapies utilizing dendritic cells for cancer and infectious disease. I would like to thank UNCG for the exceptional professors who provided a challenging learning environment and a memorable education that has granted the basis for me to grow and succeed professionally.
