Did I forget to mention that we had a very successful NSF-funded Research Experience for Undergraduates in Math-Bio this summer? Three teams of amazing students were searching for the answers of how often bacterial recombination occurs, how outbreaks of Chikungunya may be prevented, and how honey bee hygienic behavior is optimized by division of labor.
