Applications to the Biology MS and PhD programs are completed on-line through the UNCG Graduate School.
Admissions requirements for the PhD in Environmental Health Science(EHS)
An applicant must show training in the fundamentals of biology, which includes the successful completion of courses equivalent to our undergraduate core curriculum for a BS degree. A master’s degree is not required for entry into this program. However, a student who has been admitted to our master’s degree program must reapply for doctoral study. Applicants should submit recommendations from academic professionals. It is strongly suggested that letters of recommendation address the applicant’s potential for graduate work as well as his/her analytical and writing abilities. The due date for applications is January 15.
