Our PhD students Katelyn Miller and Ana Tognasoli presented posters at ASM Microbe in San Francisco, in June 2019. Katelyn’s poster was entitled “Organophosphate Exposure and Virus-Host Interactions in Epstein-Barr Virus Infected Cells” and Ana’s was “Epstein-Barr Virus as an Environmental Agent in the Pathogenesis of Parkinson’s Disease and Lewy Bodies.” Ana’s abstract was chosen for a press summary highlighting ASM Microbe research, and was featured on the Infectious Disease Hub!
