Austin Gray took second place for best platform presentation at Carolinas Society of Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry! His platform was “The presence of human and veterinary antibiotics in rural/urban streams and rural groundwater of North Carolina.” This is an investigation of antibiotic pollution in the Piedmont of North Carolina streams and drinking wells. The project was funded by NC SeaGrant/WRRI as a part of a graduate fellowship he received last summer. Austin is in Dr. Anne Hershey’s lab.
