The Microscopy Core Facility, housed in the Department of Biology, provides access to microscopy acquisition and analysis resources for UNCG researchers and classes.

Confocal/Widefield Microscope – Nikon AXR

Nikon AXR inverted frame dual point-scanning confocal/widefield microscope with AXR 2k Resonant Confocal, 4CH Hybrid GaAsP and PMT Detection, NIS-C, and an sCMOS camera visualized on an HP Z4 Enhanced Workstation with 31.5″monitor.
