Graduate students present at ASM Microbe – June 2019

Posted on July 30, 2020

Our PhD students Katelyn Miller and Ana Tognasoli presented posters at ASM Microbe in San Francisco, in June 2019.  Katelyn’s poster was entitled “Organophosphate Exposure and Virus-Host Interactions in Epstein-Barr Virus Infected Cells” and Ana’s was “Epstein-Barr Virus as an Environmental Agent in the Pathogenesis of Parkinson’s Disease and Lewy Bodies.”  Ana’s abstract was chosen for a press summary highlighting ASM Microbe research, and was featured on the Infectious Disease Hub!  See the article here: https://www.id-hub.com/2019/06/21/asm-microbe-consequences-lifelong-epstein-barr-virus-infection-brain/
